What executives ask before starting.
Straight answers to the questions that come up before every project. If yours is not here, ask it during a first call.
Understanding what we do
What do you actually do?
We help companies bring artificial intelligence into their business. We identify where AI can save you time or money, we build the solutions and we put them into production. Then we keep improving them with you.
I know nothing about AI. Are you the right fit for me?
Yes. You do not need to know what you want technically. You describe your problems, the tasks that take too long, your objectives. We turn that into concrete solutions and explain everything in plain language.
What is the difference between you and an agency?
An agency delivers a project and leaves. We work inside your teams, understand your business from the inside, and stay to run and improve what we have built. We are a team of engineers, not a marketing agency.
What is a “Forward Deployed Engineer”?
An engineer who works directly with your teams, as close as possible to the field. They understand your real needs, build the solutions and deploy them to production. It is a model used by the most advanced technology companies. We make it available to companies that do not have this expertise in-house.
Do you only do AI?
AI is our specialty, but we also build custom software without AI: internal tools, applications, platforms, dashboards. A good project often combines the two.
Do you build the whole application, or only the AI part?
Both are possible. We can build the entire application: architecture, back-end, front-end, APIs, infrastructure and AI features, then keep it evolving after release. If you already have a development team, we can also take on only the AI part, alongside them.
Can you add AI to our existing application?
Yes, it is one of our core activities. We study your product, identify the AI features that bring real value to your users, then develop and integrate them, working with your technical team if you have one.
What exactly can you build?
We design solutions around your technical, operational and budget constraints. A few examples:
- AI features in your applications: smart search, recommendations, content generation, document or image analysis
- forecasts and image analysis: demand, stocks, anomalies, visual quality control
- the automation of your internal processes: invoices, documents, reporting, customer requests
- AI assistants that know your company and answer your teams
- AI models trained on your own data
- custom software and internal tools
Can you create an AI of our own?
Yes. We adapt existing AI models to your data, your vocabulary and your business. The result is an AI specialised in your activity, which can be hosted on your premises to guarantee confidentiality. We do not build a new model: we start from the best available models and specialise them, which is faster, more reliable and much less costly.
Can you do forecasting or image analysis?
Yes. We develop predictive systems and image analysis solutions. On the predictive side: demand and sales forecasting, stock forecasting, anomaly and fraud detection, predictive maintenance, prediction of customer churn, scoring. On the vision side: automated visual quality control, inspection on production lines, reading and extraction of documents, object recognition, video analysis. We work in particular in industry, retail, logistics and finance.
Will AI replace my employees?
Our goal is to free your teams from repetitive tasks so that they can focus on what has value. We agree with you which tasks to automate, where people remain responsible and what organisational changes to plan for. Important decisions remain human.
Getting started
We don’t know yet what we need. Where do we start?
You can start with a diagnostic: we analyse your processes, your tools and your objectives, then hand you a clear roadmap with the priority projects, their value and their feasibility.
What does the diagnostic involve?
Over a few weeks, we talk with your teams, map your processes and identify where AI has the most impact. You receive a concrete roadmap, which you can carry out with us or with another team.
Can we start small?
Yes, and it is often the best approach. We can start with a prototype on a specific use case, to prove the value quickly before going further.
What is a prototype (PoC)?
A first working version of a solution, built in a few weeks on a real use case. It checks that the idea works and pays off before you invest in a full deployment.
What happens at the first meeting?
It is a conversation with no commitment. You present your company and your challenges, we ask questions and give you a first view of what is possible. If it makes sense, we propose a next step.
Do we need to prepare anything before the first conversation?
No. If you have already identified tasks that take too long or ideas for projects, note them down: it will help us. But it is not necessary.
Working with us
How do we work together?
Depending on your needs:
- A diagnostic: you do not know where to start, we hand you a clear roadmap.
- A project: you have a specific need, we deliver it end to end.
- Engineers embedded in your teams: our engineers join your teams and work with them day to day.
- Your AI department, turnkey: you have no AI team, we become your AI department, over time.
- Executive AI advisory: an AI expert alongside your leadership team, every month.
We don’t have an AI team. Can you be one for us?
Yes. We take charge of your AI department: strategy, development, release to production, maintenance and evolution. We agree the team required and its availability with you before work begins.
Can you help us build our own AI team?
Yes. We can build and run your AI department, then help you recruit and train your own team, and hand over the systems and skills to it step by step.
We already have a technical team. Can you work with it?
Yes, it is common. Our engineers join your team, use your tools and your methods, and pass on their AI expertise along the way.
Can you simply reinforce our development team?
Yes. We provide senior developers who join your team, for AI work or not: development, integration, modernisation of existing systems. They work with your tools and your methods, for a set period or over the long term.
Do you offer support to leadership on AI strategy?
Yes, through executive AI advisory. An AI expert works alongside your leadership team every month: AI strategy, choice of projects and vendors, follow-up of initiatives, help with trade-offs. It is designed for executives who want a trusted AI advisor without hiring a head of AI.
Do you work on site or remotely?
Both. We adapt our presence to each project: remotely, on site, or a mix of the two. France and Japan are our main markets, with support available in Hong Kong, across Asia and worldwide.
Who will be our point of contact?
A dedicated lead runs your project and remains your single point of contact, from the first conversation to the follow-up after delivery. You also have direct access to the engineers working on your project.
Who will actually work on our project?
The founders lead the project and bring in specialist engineers as needed. We agree the roles and skills required with you before work begins.
How often will we hear from you?
You follow progress continuously: regular check-ins, demonstrations at each important step, and access to the status of the project at any time. The rhythm is agreed with you at the start.
Timelines, costs and contracts
How long does a project take?
It depends on the project.
A diagnostic generally takes two to four weeks.
A prototype generally takes four to eight weeks, and a full deployment two to four months, depending on the scope. We give you a precise schedule before starting.
How much does it cost?
Every project is different, so we do not work with a price list. We start by understanding your need, then give you a detailed proposal with a clear scope, schedule and budget.
The diagnostic makes it possible to estimate the following projects precisely.
How is the work billed?
It depends on the formula:
- a fixed price for a defined project
- a monthly commitment for engineers embedded in your teams
- a monthly commitment for an outsourced AI department
How do we measure the return on investment?
Before starting, we agree on the indicators that matter to you: hours saved, costs reduced, shorter lead times, errors avoided. We then measure them during and after the project.
Do you sign confidentiality agreements?
Yes, systematically, before any exchange of sensitive information.
Who owns what you build?
As a general rule, the solutions developed for you belong to you, under the terms set out in the contract.
Do you work with large companies?
Yes. Our services are designed for mid-sized companies and large groups, among others. Security, compliance and procurement requirements are addressed during project scoping.
Security and data
Is our data safe?
Yes. The confidentiality of your data is a prerequisite of every project. We decide with you where it is stored and processed and who can access it, and we can deploy the solutions entirely on your own infrastructure.
Is our data used to train public AI?
No. We configure the solutions so that your data is never used to train public models. When necessary, we use models hosted on your premises, with no data sent outside.
Can everything be hosted on our premises?
Yes. We can deploy the solutions on your servers or in your private cloud, so that your data never leaves your environment.
How do you comply with regulations?
We design projects taking into account the regulations that apply to your business and to the countries you operate in, in particular the GDPR in Europe, the APPI in Japan and the PDPO in Hong Kong and applicable US privacy laws, including California’s CCPA as amended by the CPRA.
Can we control what the AI does?
Yes. Logging is defined according to your requirements and connected systems, access is controlled, and sensitive decisions require human approval. You stay in control at every step.
What if the AI makes a mistake?
No AI is infallible, which is why we test and measure it seriously. We evaluate the quality of its answers before release, put guardrails in place, and keep human control where a mistake is costly. Quality is then monitored continuously.
Technical questions
Which AI models do you use?
We are not tied to any vendor. We choose the most suitable model for each case: models from the major providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google…) or open-source models hosted on your premises. The choice depends on performance, cost and your confidentiality requirements.
Can you connect to our existing tools?
Yes. We integrate the solutions with your systems: ERP, CRM, SAP, Salesforce, databases, internal tools, including older systems. Integration with what already exists is part of our job.
Our data is scattered and not very clean. Is that a problem?
That is the case in most companies. Preparing the data is part of our projects: we gather, clean and structure it so that AI can use it.
Which technologies do you work with?
We work with the technologies that suit your environment and your team. We favour robust, maintainable choices, so that the solutions remain usable by your teams over the long term.
Will it work with our older systems?
Yes, in the vast majority of cases. We know how to make recent systems communicate with older ones, without replacing everything.
After delivery
What happens after release to production?
We do not disappear. We monitor operation, fix problems, measure results and improve the solutions over time.
Do you offer maintenance?
Yes. We offer ongoing support: monitoring, maintenance, updates and improvements.
Do you train our teams?
Yes. We train your teams to use the solutions, and we can organise broader training to help your employees and executives work with AI.
Will we be dependent on you?
No. We document everything we build and can hand over the systems and skills to your teams. You remain free.
International and languages
Which countries do you work in?
France and Japan are our main markets. We also support companies in Hong Kong, across Asia and worldwide.
Which languages do you work in?
French, English and Japanese.
Can you manage projects across several countries?
Yes. We are used to bridging Europe and Asia, and we know how to work with teams spread across several countries and cultures.
